
Anthony David Gonzalez was born February 27, 1976. He is an American football tight end. He played for 17 years in the National Football League. Gonzalez is thought to be one of the top tight ends in history. He holds the NFL's record for receiving yards and receptions as a tight-end. He also ranks third in total receptions. Gonzalez played his first 12 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, who selected him in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft. Also, he played with the Atlanta Falcons for five of the final seasons. Gonzalez quit in 2013, is the analyst of NFL on Prime Video. Prior to that, he was at CBS Sports, Fox Sports, and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also received six All-Pro honors. Gonzalez is famous for his stamina and uncommon errors. He was a regular in 272 games of the regular season, and only lost two fumbles over 1,327 plays. In 2019 Gonzalez was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
